A small revolution
The Prestiteig, a real revolution for your Thermomix®, is designed to envelop the blade and prevent sticky dough from reaching its core, making it much easier to remove from the mixing bowl.
Thanks to its conical shape and clever recesses, the Prestiteig kneads and mixes dough to perfection. Once preparation is complete, simply rinse the blades, Prestiteig and bowl with hot water, and your food processor is ready for new culinary adventures.
As any Thermomix® owner knows, making dough quickly is a dream, but cleaning the blades can often prove laborious. Sticky dough residues, especially under the blades' wings, are tough. Fortunately, the Prestiteig solves this problem in the blink of an eye, leaving your knife sparkling clean in seconds, effortlessly!
Whether for pizza, spelt dough, shortbread or fresh pasta, the Prestiteig guarantees impeccable results. Your knife is protected, and thanks to the Prestiteig's outer surfaces, you'll get perfect dough in no time at all.
Does Prestiteig have an impact on dough quality?
Rest assured, it has no effect on dough quality. On the contrary, its special design facilitates the mixing and kneading of ingredients.
The Prestiteig is suitable for dough quantities up to 600g flour (soft dough) and 37°C. For particularly hard doughs (e.g. pasta), a smaller quantity of flour is recommended (300g maximum). Optimum Prestiteig mixing levels are 2-3 and dough mode. The use of higher mixing levels is not recommended.
Easy care After use, simply rinse the Prestiteig in lukewarm water or clean it in the dishwasher at 60°C.
